Let the preparation begin...

Here are our party hats the kids (Bee and Bay) and Uncle Danno (he doesn't know it yet) will be wearing on Baylen's first birthday. I took 3 of Brynn's old bday party hats and decided to recycle them. I bought a $2.00 camouflage bandana I found just passing by an aisle at Michael's. It was big enough to cover all 3 party hats. I bought some fabric glue at Jo-Ann's, cut and pasted and voila! They turned out nicely and I'm sooo hopping Baylen will wear his for two seconds so Dj can get a photo of him in it. I'll try and practice with him wearing it this week. :) I ordered the ONE cake yesterday but have to stop by again later in the week to talk w/ the baker and make sure she understands what we want exactly. Even if she's close, that's all I care. :)

okay so I posted up the broom crew vid. up on YouTube for the teachers b/c some of them were having trouble viewing it on my website. Anyway, somehow a bunch of the kids found out about it and have been leaving comments. They are nothing short of hilarious. I can't even believe how often these kids are on YouTube. I think it's more popular than MySpace these days for them.

potty news

Brynn did really well at school today when it came to pottying on the toilet. She went EVERY single time today and stayed dry all day! Dj and I were SOOO excited! The director and her teacher want us to bring in big girl underwear and plastic pants tomorrow and see how she does. WE have been putting "big girl" undies on her most nights when we get home and she has done pretty well with them. She runs to the potty whenever she has to go. But pooping is a different story. She still poops...even in her undies. So we're working on that. Despite the probs w/ #2, we are soooo encouraged by her progress!
