Already Sicky

Brynnie stayed home today because last night she came home and right after she walked in the door, she crashed on the couch. She was acting like she wasn't feeling very good and felt warm. We made her eat some dinner, which she didn't eat much of and then threw her and Baylen in the bath, gave them both Infant Tylenol and put them right into bed. Both were exhausted and fell asleep by 7:45. Baylen's been teething and he just has sore gums and Brynn of course, felt feverish, so we decided both needed the meds. When she woke up this a.m., she still felt a little warm so I took her temp. in her mouth and under her arm and both were hovering around 99.8-99.9. She said she felt sick and didn't feel good and wanted to stay home. For this girl to say she didn't want to go to school really meant she wasn't feeling well. She still felt a little warm this evening when I got home from school meetings, but said she was feeling better and wanted to try and go to school tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow is a sick-free day. It sure didn't take long for her to become ill. Honestly, I think she was just run down from staying up late on Sunday night, staying up late on Saturday night, and just not getting enough rest. I have a feeling once pre-school, Spanish and dance begin next week that she'll be pretty tired out too.

In other exciting news, we are going to the circus this weekend! :) Brynn thinks there are rides there so I keep telling her there are only animals and no rides. She keeps arguing with me that there are rides. Hopefully she won't be too disappointed to find out that mom was right. LOL
