We made it here and despite a few crazy moments while traveling with a 3 year old and an almost 2 year old, we made it. I drank a beer on the plane for the first time in like 4 years. Seriously. I did. I had to. We are not looking forward to missing out on some family get-togethers due to the weather, but, what can we do? :( We'll probably be staying put here in C-town.
There is so much snow here, which is fun and it was about 30 here so we ventured outside to try and make a snowman. This could potentially be the first official snowman the kids had ever made. However, when we tried to make one, the snow just wasn't right. It was too soft and not wet enough. It wouldn't stick. We tried rolling snowballs. FAIL. We tried piling the snow in a big pile and "rounding it out"...FAIL. We have not found a successful method yet...all we have is a big pointed mound...FAIL. But, we'll keep trying. Until then, we'll have to ride the 4-wheeler and ride on the sled behind. Maybe tomorrow if we can't make it to A-town. Also, the kids are loving Zoey dog. LOVING her. It's so cute.
Tonight Baylen attended his first ever basketball game to see his Godfather and Uncle Danno play. :) It was fun!
And a very EXCITING day we're looking forward to is Monday when my nephew will be born via C-Section. The Doctors think he's over 10 pounds!!! I guess we'll see what happens on Monday but we can't wait to finally meet him. :)
P.S. HUGE Congrats to Nikki and Klas and the arrival of their little Mister, Coen, who joined their family Dec. 21st. :)
