I have made a to-do list and it's over 42 items long. Some are school/work-related things I need to finish and others are home items, such as getting Brynna's costume ready for our Halloween festivities over the next two weekends. I wonder how long it will take me to get all of the items on my list accomplished...
I must say, though, I have never felt so far behind at school as I do this year. The new schedule is killing me w/ loads of paperwork, as well as the fact that the district eliminated the TA positions at all middle and high schools. It's KILLING so many of us! Our TA's save our lives every day by helping us keep above water. Ugh..I heard a rumor that we are getting them back 2nd semester. I sure hope so.
Kids: I still need to take Baylen's 7 moth photo in the next couple of days or so. His first tooth has broken through! Finally--this was making him really cranky. His issue with the "runs" cleared up on Monday. Thank goodness.
Brynna is still pushing and hitting in daycare but now she's only doing it b/c she is defending herself. She's not intentionally going up and doing it just to start something. I'm glad she's sticking up for herself, but we don't like that she's doing it by hitting and pushing. I know it's a 2-year-old thing, so we'll just keep trying to reiterate the importance of being nice and not pushing, hitting or biting others.
This weekend I'm excited for a couple of reasons: craft show on Sat. a.m. and a Halloween festival in a nearby city that we're going to take the kids to, just so they can wear their costumes one more time.

Just thinking out loud here...Would it be worth a shot to try giving Brynna a sticker when you pick her up each day if she has not pushed, hit or bit? Maybe make a chart at home that she can put the sticker on as soon as she walks in the door? For the record, stickers never worked for the boys. But it couldn't hurt to try if you haven't gone that route yet. I know the whole biting thing is so frustrating and so very hard to break!
I feel like I'm just not at the top of my "game" lately too. Seems I always have no less than 5 loads of clean laundry to fold and put away, the dishwasher always needs to be emptied and the counter is full of dishes waiting to replace them once they are put away, I've got a stack of clothing that needs to be sewn (dropped hems, holes, etc.) mail is piling up because I don't have time to go through it. Ugh, I'm sure this will get better soon.
I'm so happy he's feeling better...maybe it was the tooth and not the amoxicilan, that would be good news for you :)
