Mountain take 2

Dj brought his "good" camera to the mountain and T. snapped some great family shots for us. Here is just one. :)

We have been having a busy week and I have been staying up way too late on weeknights. Brynn had a bad Monday and Tuesday at daycare..she was hitting other kids and taking toys away from them. Today she had a great day and was finally able to open her "surprise" from the Advent calendar. She was very excited and proud of herself for behaving so well. I bought a bunch of stuff at the Dollar store not that long ago to fill their tins only to find many of the items I thought would fit will not. I also bought some things at Target, in the dollar aisle, esp. for Brynn, such as stickers, mini candy canes, earrings, necklaces, socks, bracelets, pencils, etc. So I ended up putting notes in a lot of them and then it says what they get. Then I pull it out of a bag I have nearby the calendar. In preparation for next year, I am going to start collecting items early and then not worry about the size as long as I can fit it in the little gift bag and pull it out. Baylen was harder to buy for b/c certain candy he can't eat and some toys are just too small for him to play with yet. He doesn't seem to care too much yet, so that's on my side this year.

Baylen fell and really hurt his upper gum above one of his teeth at some point today. I think it happened here at home...It's all black and blue and he cut the inside of his lip. Poor kid. When he falls, he falls hard. It just looks so painful but he doesn't act like it's bothering him and he ate fine tonight. So, I'll keep an eye on it. :( It makes me feel so bad that he hurt it so badly. :( He tripped over his own two feet, as usual.

And here's a pic of the kids riding on their new sled thingy. They really enjoyed riding on this and giggled most of the time I was pulling them.

That is a great family pic! Looks like fun!

So sorry to hear about Baylen getting hurt. There is nothing worse in the whole world than when your kiddos are hurt or sicky. :(
