Need some help

Hi...do any of you know how I could take this picture, and KEEP the hat colored but put the rest in black and white? I know I could do this in PhotoShop (I have Photoshop CS2). Generally what I do is make the entire thing grayscale and then color by hand but it doesn't look as natural. So if any of you know how to do this PLEASE let me know. I really want to get better at this stuff.

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm no help. CS2 is on my wish list, though I doubt I'll ever get it!

My camera has a setting that does it automatically. I set a color (say my red shirt) and it takes a b/w photo and my shirt is in color and everything else in the red family is hued according to it's pigmentation. I have a Canon PowerShot SD750 (about $250 at Best Buy). I have a bunch of photos done already, if you want to see and example, let me know and I'll send it.

I'm a moron when it comes to photoshop editing... that and I don't have the patience!

Wow, I think I'm adding the Cannon PowerShot SD750 to my Christmas wish list! I wanted a new camera anyway!

Can't help w/ Photoshop, don't have it... I use Paint.net but I still don't understand 95% of it anyway. Kati will probably be able to help you, I think she is pretty familiar with it.
